Status
Fully working but requires additional configuration which reduces the system's filtering capabilities.
Configuration
Enable the App: Snapchat Override.
Note that this will also disable HTTPS decryption for many other apps that use Google's Appspot platform and significantly reduce the system's ability to filter them.
Detail
The Snapchat app does not utilise the device's trusted certificate store and therefore HTTPS decryption must be disabled for certain traffic. Furthermore, the app connects to appspot.com but does not provide a server name indication in those HTTPS connections. HTTPS decryption must therefore be disabled for both the snapchat.com and appspot.com domains. Disabling HTTPS decryption significantly reduces the filtering and auditing capabilities.
