Status

Fully working but requires additional configuration which reduces the system's filtering capabilities.

Configuration

Enable the App: Twitter Override.

Note that this will also disable HTTPS decryption for the Twitter website with a corresponding reduction in filtering and reporting capabilities. It is therefore recommended that the override is only enabled on wifi networks and that proper consideration is given to the risks.

Detail

The Twitter app does not utilise the device's trusted certificate store and therefore HTTPS decryption must be disabled for certain traffic. It is not possible to disable HTTPS decryption for the Twitter app without also disabling it for the Twitter website. Disabling HTTPS decryption significantly reduces filtering and auditing capabilities.
