We believe using IP address to whitelist Puffin Academy is the easiest way to make things work for the most of the schools. That's the officially recommended solution. Starting from 2016/04, the IP ranges become stable. They will remain unchanged for the coming years (best efforts).
Please understand, for user privacy and data integrity, MITM-like communication is a kind of security threat that will not happen in Puffin Academy.
Firewall appliance manufacturers and service providers are encouraged to use IP address to control the network access of Puffin Academy.
Thank you~
